Old Post Road Walking Tour
Time: 2:00 pm
Location: Fairfield Mueum & History Center
Description: Learn the fascinating colonial history of Fairfield while following the route taken by George Washington, Ben Franklin and the British when they marched on Fairfield and burned the area around the Historic Town Green on July 7, 1779. Please pre-register by calling 203-259-1598.

Fall Festival!
Time: 11:30 am
Location: Fairfield Museum & History Center
Description: Music, crafters, children’s activities and more are all in store for a community-wide celebration on Fairfield’s historic Town Green. While last year celebrated the museum’s grand opening, this year will honor Native American heritage. Come make a Native American craft, listen to a storyteller and participate in a demonstration of Eagle and Condor dances. There is something for everyone to enjoy. The museum will be free of charge for the day and the Junior Women’s Club craft fair will be held on the green, along the Old Post Road.
